Research-Scale Harvesting Tools

Most of the harvesting work done on these forest properties is sub-contracted to local woods operators. Small-scale harvesting can be done to meet specific research needs or unusual requirements -- like stem analysis sectioning. Chainsaws, safety equipment, and a log forwarder wagon are available at the Center.
