About the SWMREC weather station:

The SWMREC weather station is located on the southeast side of the building complex at 1791 Hillandale Rd, Benton Harbor, MI. Latitude = 42.05, elevation = 224 meters.

The weather instrument is a Campbell Scientific weather station. Radiant energy is measured with a Li-Cor pyranometer which measures irradiance or radiant flux density, which is total energy incident on a surface area during a unit of time. The units are calories/cm2/day = langleys/day. Air temperature is measured at a 5 ft height. Leaf wetness is measured with a Campbell 237-L flat interlaced gold-plated grid.
