Kellogg Forest was once abandoned agricultural land. Today it is a thriving forest. Notice how the land has changed though the years. Our goal is to help you understand forest and forestry research.

The forest road way is designated the Lemmien Loop in appreciation to Walt and Virginia Lemmien who during their 41 years at the Forest were instrumental in creating the present day W.K. Kellogg Experimental Forest.
