Community Vitality Program

The MSU Community Vitality program is funded by the Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station and the MSU Office of the Provost. It's mission is to enhance the capacity of MSU faculty members and community leaders to engage in meaningful, cross-disciplinary partnerships to explore the ways that new scientific discoveries and innovative research approaches can help communities improve living standards for current and future residents.

The MSU Community Vitality Program has four program themes: environmental health and well-being; economic development; poverty, inequality and social justice; and community and neighborhood involvement.
