Revitalization of Animal Agriculture
in Michigan Initiative
The Revitalization of Animal Agriculture in Michigan Initiative, commonly referred to as AII, is a partnership between MSU, livestock producers and industry organizations and the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Its mission is to develop profitable and sustainable farm production practices, environmentally sound manure management systems, and scientifically sound animal nutrition, comfort and disease diagnosis and treatment standards, and to improve the quality and safety of processed animal products.
Community Vitality Program
The MSU Community Vitality Program' s mission is to enhance the capacity of MSU faculty members and community leaders to engage in meaningful, cross-disciplinary partnerships and to use new scientific discoveries and innovative research approaches to help communities improve living standards for current and future residents. The MSU Community Vitality Program is funded by the Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station and the MSU Office of the Provost.
Families and Communities Together (FACT)
Families and Communities Together (FACT) is a multidisciplinary coalition linking MSU researchers and resources with community partners and initiatives. Sponsored and supported by the Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station, the Office of the Provost and MSU Extension, in partnership with University Outreach and Engagement, the coalition's goal is to support the health and well-being of Michigan's children, families, and communities.
